NYC and Houston aren’t just cities to Tanya and Daniel—they’re main characters in their story.

Tanya grew up in Houston, surrounded by family (shoutout Raj, Nicole, Apa, and the whole crew). But after college, she moved to NYC for business school at NYU…and never really looked back. What was supposed to be a quick chapter turned into 15+ years.

Daniel also grew up in Houston, soccer on humid summer nights where your shirt sticks to you by the end of the game.

Their story really took off when Tanya moved back to Houston and met Daniel. Houston delivered its own memories with paddleboats in Hermann Park, trips to MFAH, and meals from Aga’s.

Early on, Tanya introduced Daniel to her NYC world—her "chosen family" (shoutout Shane, Chi, Arun, Diana, Holly, Fiamma, and more) and her favorite spots around the city.

On their very first trip to NYC together, Daniel told Tanya he loved her. No big deal…just a casual first trip. On a more recent visit, he proposed in front of the Statue of Liberty—Tanya’s favorite landmark. And when the photos didn’t quite turn out how they wanted…he proposed again in front of the World Trade Center. Because when it comes to big moments, one try is simply not enough.

One thing these two cities have in common? They celebrate the whole world. That's one of the things Tanya and Daniel love most. So don't be surprised when cocktail hour turns into Indian outfits, Thai food, and a few more multicultural surprises. Consider it a NYC-meets-Houston way to throw a party.

NYC and Houston aren’t just places they've lived—they've shaped their story, their memories, and now, their future.

So it only feels right: NY ♡ HOU. Two cities, one story—and one very good excuse to celebrate.

And on December 5, you'll see a little bit of both in every detail.
