What is the date, time, and location of the wedding?

Our event begins with cocktail hour at 6 pm and ends at 11 pm on December 5, 2026. The event is at Makiin, located at 2651 Kipling Street, Houston, TX.

What is the NY❤️HOU theme about?

NYC and Houston aren’t just cities to Tanya and Daniel—they’re main characters in our story.  They've shaped our story, our memories, and now, our future.  So it only feels right: NY ♡ HOU. Two cities, one story—and one very good excuse to celebrate.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP as soon as possible, so we can have the details we need to make an unforgettable night!

Is there an open bar?

Yes, there is an open bar for the entire evening – from 6 pm to 11 pm.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is formal attire.  Men should wear suits or pants, jacket, and tie.  Women should wear cocktail or formal dresses.  Festive South Asian attire welcome!

Can I bring guest(s)?

We are so excited to celebrate with you! Unfortunately, due to strict capacity limits at our venue, we can only accommodate the guests named on the formal invitation.

Should I bring a gift?

We are excited to celebrate with you – all you need to bring is yourself.  Please do not bring any boxed gifts, due to space constraints in the venue.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will happily accommodate.
